Oxblood Plume Crossbody

The Plume Crossbody is built for the days when you don't want to think about your bag — you just want it there. At 18 × 23 cm, it holds your phone, your cards, your keys, and the few other things that actually need to come with you. Everything else stays behind. That's not a limitation. That's the point.

The front flap is hand-tooled with a single plume motif — a central stem with large feathered leaves pressed into the leather in high relief, the background stippled by hand to draw every carved line into shadow. The motif rises from the base of the flap like something growing. Around it, along every edge of every panel, runs a cream whipstitch — each loop individual, each one placed by hand. The flap closes with a triple-arch cutout at its base, a clean architectural detail that gives the bag its silhouette. Once you've seen it, you'll recognise it from across the room.

The colour is Oxblood Plum — a deep burgundy that shifts between wine and near-black depending on the light it finds. The front carries the carving. The back carries the leather's own story: natural pull-up marks, tonal variations, the honest grain of full-grain hide that has not been corrected, sanded, or disguised. It looks different every time the light changes. That is not a flaw. That is the leather.

Open the flap and the interior surprises you. A full-width zip pocket in antique brass. And beneath it, a leather pouch — its silhouette a near-perfect echo of the outer flap. Same curve, same arch cutout, same snap closure. The craftsman built the inside to answer the outside. It is the kind of detail that has no practical reason to exist. It exists because whoever made this was paying attention.

The strap adjusts for crossbody or shoulder carry. The antique brass hardware carries no shine — only warmth. Black canvas lines the interior.

Full-grain leather from this family of hide develops a patina over time. The Oxblood Plum will deepen and shift with use. The whipstitch will soften. The flap will develop the particular character of a thing that has been opened and closed a thousand times by the same hands.
